Relay Install Instructions

Thanks Hararld, I used this doc to help me install a 2nd battery in my 82 diesel westy with 3 way refridge. here are my notes. I do have the smaller relay and it would only give me power to the 2 large red wires connect to the (2) 87 terminals when the blue trigger wire from the alt. said the motor was running. I installed a Group 41R battery, not a deep cycle, just a regular car battery. It fit PERFECTLY, no cutting or bending of anything and I had room to stuff my wires as well. Since I do not plan to use it to run my refridge in 12V DC mode, I do not think I will drain it very low and I have a DC/AC inverter running off of it and this unit will alarm when the battery gets low. So, I wired it using the same relay and since it is only going to get topped off after a weekend of camping I think I will be fine. I will let you know at the end of the summer. Bryan, 82 Diesel Westy with 1.9NA 6/2010
