Replace Thermostat

This works really well. Be very sure engine is STONE COLD before you start this procedure. don't be alarmed if you see clouds of steam billow out of your engine compartment when you are done and start it up. It's just the coolant you spilled onto your exhaust pipes vaporizing.

Never put heat on the thermostat cover or housing bolts as the plastic may melt.
